Receptionist
The receptionist is the person who represents the campsite. He/she is the first face a visitor will see and the last. If you're a smiley, good listener and enjoy customer contact, this is the job for you!
You'll welcome customers as they arrive, informing them about the activities they can do in the area and about how the campsite works. You'll answer emails and telephone calls and pass them on to the relevant department.
How are things at Les Arches?
The reception is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday, from the opening to the closing of the campsite.
Under the management of Annette, Reception Manager, the receptionist will :
- Respond to requests for information and bookings, whether by email, telephone or in person
- Take the time to provide a warm, personalised welcome
- Provide the best possible guidance and service, with the aim of achieving optimum customer satisfaction while respecting the interests of the establishment
- Paying attention to customers' outstanding accounts, collecting bills and checking daily transactions
Key competences
Interpersonal skills
- Welcoming and helpful with a smile
- Good oral and written communication skills in French, English and Dutch*.
- Handle any disputes with empathy and fairness
- Working as part of a team
Knowledge of the local tourist offer
- Promote the campsite and its services
- Promote local cultural and tourist activities
Computer skills
- Proficiency in Inaxel (or Naxi) booking software
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and the Internet in general
- Managing a telephone switchboard
Self-confidence
- Be autonomous
- Demonstrate rigour and apply protocols
- Stress management
*As the establishment's clientele is mainly Dutch, it is essential to be at least fluent in English.
